Placement Exchange

Placement needs and provider availability

Council users post de-identified placement needs. Providers post vacancies and services. Availability shows when it was last updated so stale listings are easy to spot.

Emergency Placement Hub

Same-day and urgent placement coordination

Filter urgent referrals and available services by region, service type, vacancy and response time.

Move planning board

A quick view of where each person is in the placement process.

Compliance Centre

Provider compliance confirmations

Providers confirm each item themselves — PlaceBridge doesn't request or store supporting documents. Where a date matters, we use it only to send a reminder before it's due.

Enquiries and conversations

Review provider offers, shortlist responses, and keep conversations moving.

Approve, suspend, ban users, and monitor how the platform is performing.

Share only what a provider needs to judge whether they can help. The less identifying detail, the safer for the child or adult.

Placement need

Start with the minimum facts a provider needs for suitability. Keep identity out of the first post.

Support needs

Describe needs in plain terms. Providers do not need names, schools, addresses or contact details at this stage.

Placement requirements

Area and urgency

A town or borough is enough for first matching. Avoid a full address or full postcode.

Urgent means a placement is needed within 24 to 48 hours. High means within the next week or so. Planned means a move you are arranging ahead of time.

Governance check

Record why you are allowed to share this information and confirm it is de-identified before posting.

Review before posting

Check the placement need before it goes live. This is what suitable providers will use for first matching.

Before you post

Do not include names, schools, addresses, full postcodes, dates of birth, contact details or unnecessary identifying information.
